Over a period of two decades, Ben has closed sales transactions representing all asset classes throughout the New York City and the tri-state region, including multifamily, mixed-use, retail, office, bulk unit packages, complex development and assemblage transactions, as well as distressed assets and note sales.
Ben has had success in achieving above-market values for Brooklyn multifamily buildings. His record of accomplishment in this area derives from his highly nuanced knowledge of the borough, attributable to his decades of living and working in its various neighborhoods.
Mr. Weiss attended NYU’s Schack Institute of Real Estate, where he received a master’s degree in real estate finance and investments and is a member of the alumni association. He also earned degrees in psychology as well as Talmudic law. Mr. Weiss is fluent in several languages. He is also involved in several not-for-profit organizations and sits on the board of Highway of Hope, which provides assistance and support to patients with rare diseases.
Ben joined Eastern Union after an 18-year tenure with The Besen Group, a New York City-based investment sales firm where he held the position of Managing Director for Investment Sales, among a number of roles focused on NY Metro Commercial Real Estate.
Previously, he served as Director of Business Development for a major pharmaceutical concern.
Mr. Weiss began his career in the operations and management of congregate care facilities.

Born in Turkey, raised in Baltimore & Ellicott City, Maryland and educated in multiple universities abroad and in the US, including Loyola University Maryland, Ozzy began his real estate career in the residential sphere as a broker and a redeveloper in and around the submarkets of Baltimore. Driven by his passion for real estate and with over ten years of experience advising, brokering, buying and selling investment properties, Ozzy has personally participated in the development and renovation of over 70 assets.
Ozzy’s skill set, credited in part to his unique background, has accumulated over years of experience in sales, marketing, real estate development, real estate investing and technology. Today, Ozzy advises and assists private investors in the acquisition and disposition of multifamily assets. Ozzy’s entrepreneurial business acumen, personal experience and knowledge of the local market allows him to maximize the return on equity for his clients.
When not in the office or at job sites, Ozzy enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, playing basketball and traveling.
Born in France, raised in the US and educated in Switzerland, Alex began his real estate career in Beijing, China, where he assisted in the development of four hotels being built in Beijing and Shanghai. Two years later, Alex moved to California to gain knowledge in the tenant rep leasing space working for a well-known boutique tenant rep firm based in Newport Beach. During his tenure with the principal, he assisted in tenanting close to 1.2 million square feet of retail and restaurant space within an 18-month time span. Soon after, he moved on to where he gained an extensive amount of knowledge and experience working for Marcus and Millichap in Los Angeles, which spotlighted his abilities as a broker.
When he began looking to relocate East, Alex met up with Marc Tropp and David Merkin of Eastern Union and ultimately took the helm of Eastern’s Investment Sales platform, allowing the team to further expand their focus in client services.
Alex has originated a large number of deals from smaller multifamily apartment buildings to large scale ground up development projects throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. Through his knowledge and experience in the finance sector, he packages proper underwriting models and pro-forma for his clients to secure the deals closure in a short amount of time. Alex’s core values represent high end client service to new and old clients. His core vision for the brand is to under-promise and over deliver.
After spending 3 years in the NFL, Rahmaan leveraged the work ethic, discipline and determination necessary to play at that level, and began his professional career in finance, working as an institutional rates trader for almost 18 years. As an institutional bond trader, Rahmaan provided liquidity to some of the largest institutional investors across the globe. Rahmaan’s trading experience helped him develop high-level quantitative and analytical ability, while simultaneously playing an integral role in managing and maintaining relationships with some of the firm’s key clients. He recently joined the Investment Sales division at Eastern Union, bringing his wealth of analytical ability and client relations experience to the team.
Andrew Marca was the Director of Sales for Eastern Union’s Multifamily Group based in the company’s Bethesda, MD office before deciding to make the jump to the Investment Sales division. Prior to joining Eastern Union, he worked at three early-stage start-ups, quickly learning the importance of persistence, process and transparent communication. Andrew has since mastered these skills and is focused on serving his clients in the Mid-Atlantic region with the same process-minded thinking, transparency and attention to detail he brought in his years working at high-growth tech start-ups.
Andrew Marca

Andrew Marca is an associated broker in Eastern Union’s Bethesda, MD office. While still a student at Colorado State University, Andrew already demonstrated his business acumen by launching his own start-up company. After graduating college, he continued his focus on the mechanics of scaling by working on three other early-starts, quickly developing a capacity for workforce expansion. Andrew was attracted to Eastern Union’s ambitious plans to scale and rapidly add new sales personnel. He accepted a position within the company where he could tap into his experience to offer tactical counsel in boosting the ranks of the broker team. Eastern Union considers Andrew Marca a genuine asset to the company and anticipates the added value he will bring both as a mortgage originator and an in-house strategic advisor.
Barry Dollman

Barry Dollman assists commercial real estate owners by arranging acquisitions or refinancing real estate deals. His expertise lies in construction, multifamily, mixed-use, hotels, and retail property-types. Barry is known to be honest and straightforward, organized and prompt. Shauna Flynn

Associated Broker Shauna Flynn has been in the Real Estate industry for close to two decades. Ten of those years were devoted as a residential and commercial real estate broker. She also has several years experience in property management of low-income subsidy apartments, in addition to other multifamily property management. She herself is an investor of multifamily properties and as of the past 5 years, a property and real estate advisor for new business developments. Currently, one of the most active female Commercial Loan officers in Eastern Union, Shauna deals with commercial loans of $1MM or more and all sizes of Mobile/RV parks or communities. Shauna prides herself on being accessible to discuss any and all of clients’ real estate needs.
Marc Tropp

Marc Tropp aptly uses his 17 years of experience in securing commercial and renovation/construction loans to facilitate funding for property owners in the commercial real estate Mid-Atlantic market. Working together with his team, Marc places a strong focus on each client, developing a full-perception of the individual project and investment style to best arrange a lender match.
